Coaching Agreement, Terms and Conditions
Definitely read this! This will set you up for success in our work up together, and put us on the same page in our coaching relationship.
When you click on “I agree to terms and conditions” you are indicating a full understanding of and agreement with the information below.
The coaching agreement between Katherine Jaeger-Thomas (Coach) and you (Client) will begin on the date of first payment and continue as scheduled until Client decides to alter or cancel the coaching relationship.
The service to be provided is coaching, which is not advice, therapy, nor counseling, and may address specific personal goals, business successes, or general conditions in the client’s life or profession. If at any time the client is dissatisfied with this coaching agreement, he or she can end this agreement at any time.
The coach promises the client that all information provided to the coach will be kept strictly confidential as allowed by law. Throughout the working relationship, the coach will engage in direct and personal conversations. The client can count on the coach to be honest and straightforward in asking questions and making requests. The client understands that the power of the coaching relationship can only be granted by the client and the client agrees to do just that – allow the coaching relationship to be powerful. If the client believes that coaching is not working as desired, the client will immediately communicate that to the coach and both will take action to remedy the situation.
The client hereby certifies that they do not suffer from any physical or mental disability that might affect their participation in the coaching process, and, if they have any substance abuse or mental illness, they have consulted with appropriate health care professionals and have been advised that they may participate in coaching without risk. They agree that if there is any change in this representation, they will promptly advise the coach. If coach believes client is a threat to him/herself or others, coach is bound by the standards and ethic of the International Coach Federation (ICF) to report the incident.
They agree that, in the event of any claim or grievance by me against KJT Coaching by sole remedy will be the return of the fees paid. KJT Coaching is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages beyond the total amount of fees paid by the client.
Payments and Private Information
Payments to be made in advance of sessions to KJT Coaching & Consulting, via Square.
Payments will be automatically deducted on the same date of the month originally purchased.
Client’s credit card information kept on file via Square for automatic payment. By clicking “Agree”, you are authorizing automatic payments until such time that you decide to alter or cancel your coaching arrangement.
Appointments will take place by video conference via Zoom. Link will be sent in all confirmation emails to client.
Client is welcome to reschedule calls at their convenience using Acuity scheduling, giving at least 24 hours notice for a change or cancellation.
Appointments missed without notice are billable/non-refundable. Emergencies will be accommodated on a case by case basis.
If you do not use all appointments within the month, we will work together to make up the time in the following month. If this happens consistently, we will determine a more appropriate schedule for your needs.
Sessions will focus on the client’s agenda. Coach will support the clients’ agenda.
Client will be prepared to discuss and further the goals they want to achieve.
Exercises and actions during and between sessions will be agreed upon.
Sessions will be recorded via Zoom and available to download via Dropbox. A link to each session will be sent to you following each call and will available for download for three months following your final session.
Client will complete exercises and actions as agreed.
Communication between sessions is absolutely welcome! Checking in with challenges, questions or successes as you reach towards your goals can be done via email (email@example.com), or an emergency fifteen-minute call can be accommodated with advance notice.
I will do my best to respond in a timely manner – particularly with an urgent request – however for less time sensitive matters, it may take me up to 72 hours to reply.
If you have concerns about how the coaching is going, please bring it up directly with me. We will work together to address it and get things back on track in the most supportive manner.
